Polygonal modelling
Polygonal models allow enormous freedom and speed of creation.
Triangles, N-gons, Booleans, extrusions and bevels which describe curvature. All good and well for concepting objects but the models created with these processes are not considered good enough for actual usage in a production. They will need to be retopologised completely. It is much better to learn how to create final quad based geometry in the first place.
